Am I lazy, forgetful... Or HELPFUL?

I was looking for Blender tools and tutorials today and came across a guy who puts out free kits for generating textures.(Remington Graphics. Check it out if you're into that kinda thing.) This guy also has a Patreon. I figured I'd pop over and maybe pledge to him.

That's when I realized I haven't checked Patreon in a while.

You see, I support 14 different people presently. A couple I've supported from the start. Some only recently. Almost all of them, I have some kind of reward. (Usually early access or high-res art. Some send me prizes in the mail.) However, I just realized that I've been supporting two people at a reward tier where I can send a request for a sketch once a month... That I haven't been doing... That I haven't been getting any kind of reminder notice...

Am I broken up about this? Not really. (I have a hard time coming up with my OWN ideas sometimes, let alone coming up with something for someone else.) I am a little miffed that, not only did I never get any kind of 'thank you' from these artists, but now I haven't been getting any kind of reminder that, "Hey bro, you gave me some cash the past few months and haven't asked for anything. Just wanted to see if you realized your pledge rewards." But maybe I'm being helpful in not claiming these rewards because it's less work for the artist. I'M HELPING!

I want to take a moment to give some shout-outs to the good-guy artists I support who have gone out of their way to not only send me an actual "thank you" note, but who have also reached out to me as far as rewards go.
Aaron Neathery, the creator of the webcomic Endtown (Started supporting him after seeing an Endtown thread on /co/ and binged the entire archive in one night.)
Alan Foreman, the creator of the webcomic Poisoned Minds (I've been a big fan of his comic since the 90s.)
Reyn Goldfur, the creator of the webcomic Caves and Critters
(Randomly found one of his comic pages on his FA page. cavesandcritters )

There seems to be a theme here... Wonder if we can figure out what it is...

Kariss Jones, the creator of the webcomic Orbit: encounter
(Again, a random FA find. I was among her first supporters. orbitencounter )
Paco Briseño, one of the handful of artists I support who has an account here on IB. (

) I started supporting after I started reading his "Art & Biro" comic, but fell in love with his adorable style! I just want to hug them all so much!

These guys I don't get any reward from. I just support them because they're pretty bomb.
Gree, because his character designs are really cute. greevixor
Dr. Javi, Because I love the designs of his characters and his story over at Misbegotten Kittens.

Tim Rodriguez, the creator of the webcomic Forest Hill. I can't even remember how I found this comic, but the story is really well thought out and powerful. campionl
And lastly,
Deadly Comics, because of his YouTube channel. I'm sure many of you have seen "Boxen" or "Cup of Dirt", but he has a lot of super cute animations up there. This one is the one that made me become a supporter.
