When was that last update again!?

Hidey-ho peeps, your friendly neighborhood Shuuman here.

Now it has certainly been awhile since I last interacted around here in any kind of posting sense. Life has been really busy for me in the past year. I know I shattered my promise about consistant updates and on one hand that is my own procrastination issues at work again. Another major part is that in June of last year my bookbag was stolen with just about every single page of my notes, outlines and rough draft for just about everything I had written down. Long story short as far as I know everything is gone forever, because somebody called themselves getting back at me for something I did and considering where I live it could be anything, peeps really petty around here.

Now I did restart trying to write Gaiden, however, the story was not going in the way I wanted it to go. Basically I felt I focused far too much on sexual content to match up with what was going on with the comic at that time. Also in my outline I wanted Lucas to be done with Sydney by Chapter 3 at the latest, but that was going to drag into chapter five and I just felt it was weighing the plot down.

So what does this mean for Gaiden as a whole? I decided to redo the beginning parts, make it more in line with what I was planning and try to move the story along where things are actually happening. Lucas is still our main protagonist and Sydney will show up eventually. In exchange the sexual encounters are going to be cut waaay down because I just felt I was doing them for the sake of doing them. Now that I've graduated from college (as I decided to focus on school in the past year) I've got a lot more free time and hopefully can stick to a more consistant schedule but I can't make too much of a guarantee that I can stick with it if things get hot.

I have a bad habit of making chapters go on and on, right now chapter one is about 14 pages long and I'm only 2/3s done. A part of me wants to break it up as I heavily doubt anybody is going to sit and read twenty plus pages. Its hard enough getting people I know to read four.

What do you chaps think I should do?

I'd say break it up, more shorter chapters is more enjoyable imo, because there is less of a wait.

I say keep it together I use text to speech to read all my stories is $3 and I can read a thousands of pages in less than a day. so I like longer and more detailed stories.
