I appoligize.

I apologize to anyone who coped it 6 hours ago... I was angry and unsatisfied with the verdict and sentence given to the guy who killed my friend...

I don't often snap at people, but that was one of the things that threw me over the cliff...

Don't worry, it's understandable.

Not completely understandable when you tell someone trying to console you to fuck off...

I'm not a mean or horrible person... I'm just emotionally unstable... most of the time I feel nothing, the rare occassions I feel something, it's like a bomb going off inside me.
Never felt love, because when I do, I don't know if it's real or just a chemical imbalance...
With Belle, I at least knew how I felt about her.
I get so angry thinking about the guy who took her away from me...

A sentence like that would certainly not deter more of it from happening.

Back when I was a kid (about the year 1964), there was a wreck on a highway at about 2 hours after midnight not far from where we lived.
Two drunks had left a tavern earlier that night, and later decided to have a road race down the highway (paved highway with two lanes in each direction). It wasn't long before they were noticed by police service traffic division. Officers in two patrol cars began pursuit, but the drunks who were racing decided to try to see if they can loose them.
They eventually came to an intersection with a traffic signal that had just turned to red. Both drivers continued at well over 160 kph (100 mph).
A man and wife couple who now had the green light proceeded in their car onto the highway and was slammed in the rear at 190 kph (120 mph) by one of the drunks racing down the highway.
The rear bumper of the couple's car was smashed up to the back of the front seat, and the gas tank exploded. The car was shoved off the highway into a power line pole. The man was thrown out of the car, but his wife was trapped in the burning car.
As for the drunk who rammed them, the front bumper of his car was smashed back even with the front seat, and the drunk driver was decapitated from the car's hood ramming in through the windshield.
Because both patrol cars now had to stop and assist, the other drunk didn't even slow down...He kept on speeding down the highway.
They couldn't get the woman out of the burning car and she burned to death. Her husband, although badly hurt, did survive.
.During the accident scene investigation, the head of the decapitated drunk driver was found a few hundred feet down the highway from the crash site.
A day later, they did find out who the other drunk driver was.
From what I am aware of, he was found guilty in court of two counts of vehicular homicide (his drunk friend he was racing with, and the woman who burned to death), among a bunch of other violations he was charged with.
He was sentenced to two life sentences, each without the possibility of parole...and that was before M.A.D.D. ever existed.

That was more than 50 years ago...It seems now days they have the laws on the books, but they are really not serious about anything.

Was this supposed to make me feel better?
It just proves that people who abuse their rights still seem to be given them in court... even when someone else loses their life...

If the punishments for breaking the law were heavier, we might actually have people stop and think... I mean for something as stupid as peeing in a playground at 1am, you can be labeled "sex offender" and legally cannot live within a certain distance from a school, or take your own kid to school, or go to watch their play, or sports carnival... all for making the choice not to piss your pants...

So why isn't something much more serious carrying consequences jus as heavy?

An attorney (Mark Randal whose office was on Highway 434 in Longwood, Florida) once told me 25 years ago that the system really goes by what's most convenient and will draw in the most revenue, rather that what is based on right and wrong anymore.

Fuck...
Justice isn't a business!
It's people's lives!
Someone who makes one wrong decision in life shouldn't be eternally punished, and someone who continually makes wrong desicions over and over should be.
I'm losing all hope for the world we have...

Some crimes shouldn't be taken lightly, like murder or manslaughter.
Others should have leeway, such as a one off punch up.
Most people learn from their mistakes, the justice system is supposed to protect people from those who don't.

I can't blame you for being upset... I would have been too... I feel bad for you and everyone else that lost her in this incident... Justice was not served... Most of that sentence was most likely the drunk driving... And that I don't feel is right...
