I should have made one of these before, but i figured i would do it after i finished the comic.
A lot of people have +watched me ever since i started with it a year ago. I have almost doubled the number of watchers, from around 600 to 1085 as of today, after being stuck at 400-500 for years.
I would like to welcome everyone, and also thank everyone, old and new watchers. I'm not fast or consistent with the new drawings, so please bear with me. And also i have a couple of weird kinks that you have probably seen in my gallery, like the contortionism and the boxes, which i hope to continue drawing from time to time whenever a new idea comes to mind, so please keep in mind that i'll put a preview warning for those, in case you find that too weird.
I'm gonna take a break from comics for now, at least for a few months, so i can take the chance to practice proper comic making, such as panel flow, speech bubbles, background, lighting and shading, and techniques to increase the speed while also maintaining the quality. Having 26 pages made in 12 months is not good enough for me, but when i tried to make one page a week while still having a day job, it became too hard for me, and also the quality plummeted.
I averaged at 1 page per two weeks at the end, and that seemed to work well, but still was hard, and consumed a lot of my free time, so i would like to also thank my boyfriend
for his support, tips and understanding for the little time i had available for him.
I'm not organized at all in the creation process, and i keep coming with new poses and pages. At the end the comic used 4 pages more than i expected, so it kinda became an inside joke in the final pages, that with every new page i released, i still had 6 more pages to go. I'm gonna try and get more efficient with that, and also i would like to take the time to improve Bramble's face to make him look more like a rabbit, and also tweaking the Moomba's anatomy which i have been doing through the whole comic.
I have a lot of projects in my mind, but i would like to be certain i can make them before even mentioning them. As a final thing, i want to bring up this, which is a screencap of a conversation with a rather pushy person who wanted to make a collaboration with me, and didn't want to take no for an answer.
As i have in my profile, i'm not open for commissions, requests, trades or collabs, so really, do not insist please.
Sweetie, it was lovely to help you though this. I'm just proud you stuck with it and got it done!
But you know how I feel about all of this ;)
Bravo!
For what it's worth, dear comic readers and other fans of Hitsune's work. Thanks for the watches, kind comments and enthusiasm... It has -really- spurred him on. Thank you all!

Yeah, i'm not going to be that patient with the next person that gets so pushy. And i think i'll get this weekend off (or mostly off) I don't want to get rusty either :)

It's those that try the least bit of manipulation, where the communication should be cut, and all defense systems should be set up. That, and talking to friends instead.

Yeah, part of the plan to counter that is the post with the screencap, to redirect them there to anyone who tries to guilt trip me again into drawing for them.

I also have a bad habit of procrastinating. Specially on the first stages of a drawing (sketch/lineart) But once i climb up that mountain, the rest of the drawing is rather easy to sit through.

All I can say is to tell you I first found you comic on E621 and saw it as an Inkbunny submission. I quickly watched and waited to see what was going to happen.
Sometimes it's good to post art in multiple places cause I definitely DON'T find everything on I.B.

I usually crosspost on the mayor galleries, but this is a cub comic, so i can only do it on Pixiv and here. I used to post on e621 so many years ago, but i didn't like the interface, and how little control you have. Now i have forgotten my password there and i can't delete some embarrassingly old/bad drawings i posted.
I had hopes on FurryNetwork but they went non-cub. But you're right, it's better to crosspost whenever you can.

At least for projects. I do like e621 for linking the original posts. Always lets you look over the artists profile instead of just the pictures that were loaded up.
