Oh I'm sure everyone saw this new trailer of this new Sonic game and now once again, you're searching on which side are you gonna fight, eh ?
This is so typical of the Sonic Community. Everytime there's a new Sonic game since 1994, fans are complaining about the new "shit" which is gonna happen... Sonic Cycle will never stop.
So... Is Sonic Forces gonna' be great or not ?

I find it very ingenious to create your own char and to use it as a Gary-Stu and to be the Second Ultimate Life Form xD. So, I want to see it on PC. And I really hope that all hackers and modders will try and try again to edit the game and to add fantastic improvements and features !!
I would love to play to "Cylia the Antelope" on my PC, but I'm not sure SEGA would appreciate the way she will fight ! Ha ha ha xD.

I think is kind of cool, as far as I have seen very few people is seriously complaining about this feature, most people either like it, are having fun about it or just don't care enough to hate on it, personally I think it will be moderately fun, also I'm kind of relieved is not a new "main character", we have a lot of characters in the main cast already that hardly get any spotlight from Sega, with new faces the problem would only get worse.

As with EVERY Sonic game in my history as a fan, I'll have NO opinions on good or bad. But will await it's release, play it, and regardless of it's results, will enjoy the run while I play it out. Whether it turns out better or worse, I enjoy experiencing any new game involving the good ol' Blue Blur.

Honestly I'm getting sick of "Original The Character" jokes. When everbody makes them at the same time they aren't funny. Also I feel like people are getting entirely too worked up over a mechanic that nobody bats an eye at in other games. But hey it's Sonic so something has to be terrible I guess.

I would say it might be comparable to xenoverse's character creator, but I dunno if many people threw a bitch fit over that. I'd say that it stems from the reputation that the sonic fanbase has and people hating for the sake of hating. Idk how relevant the fanbase has been before this game has been announced, so this may have turned the fanbase into a more lucrative target. Also, I think the custom character system is an outlier in official sonic titles in comparison to other IPs. I don't think they're immune to its fair share of hate, but you'd likely have to really dig deep if you wanna see rants against the inclusion of furry, scaly, etc. creatures as a playable race. Some may even go against fictional races that aren't "human enough" or just aren't human no matter how close they resemble thwm. But like I said, it would likely require scowering the internet to really find it. In short, the sonic fanbase is just an easy target.

This is too cliche at this point, dude. So screw the so-called "Sonic Cycle", and let's all just let our opinions matter when we first play it.
2: I'm actually looking forward to the cac thing. I've been cool with some games like Old Republic (never played a lot of it), and 2 Dragon Ball Xenoverse games. But this one in Sonic Forces, especially fulfilling most of my customization ideas, is what's getting me hyped cuz Leyden is, and someday will be, a really sweet Sonic fan character. I'm gonna try to integrate him as best as I can in the game, along with another char Velvet the Rabbit (Leyden's lover). :3
