You guys might remember a little while ago I made a journal about fetishes I don't get. Now I'm not knocking anyone with different kinks, to each their own, but here's another one that I don't understand, and you can add it to that list. Humiliation, emasculation and cuckholding.
I had heard the term "Cuck" a few times, so I looked up the meaning, and cuckholding came up too. I think it belongs in this, since it's pretty much the same thing. But this is a trend I've seen recently, and I'll give you an example. Some guy wants to get it on with this girl, but she completely disses him, humiliates him, and gets with another guy and fucks him while laughing at the other guy, or sometimes, he'll be tied up and forced to watch as they do it, and they insult him, usually for being inadequate between the legs, etc etc.
So, this is a thing? People really get off on being mean spirited to someone like that? Is it the sense of power they have over them? Does that really make them feel better about themselves to blatantly insult and emotionally damage someone? Or is is it the victim that gets off? I have no idea. Examples I've seen just seem more like revenge taken by the artist on a character that gets too much pussy in fanart. So this makes up for it I guess? Now I know made up characters don't matter in the long run, and it's not like anyone is really getting hurt in these, but seriously, I'm more worried for the artists who draw this. Does it really make you feel better to break down a fictional character? Does it make you feel more adequate?
Now, if the victim had it coming, like they were really an asshole type of person or were abusive, yeah, I can sorta get it, messed up as it is. Thing is, I've never been one to purposefully hurt anyone. Erotic fan work can be whatever people want, but for me, I guess I've always been a softie when it comes to stuff like that. Things can get rough, raunchy and kinky, but I still feel that under that there should be some sort of warmth and love there, not spite, hatred and abuse. Dishing out really personal insults for things beyond their control and laughing in their face is just cruel for the sake of cruelty. Count me out of it.
