So paypal is pushing us digital artists into a corner and pretty much forcing us to use invoices. I mean, it's not a bad thing, I'm just stubborn I guess.
So from now on, all transactions from me that are not donations, will be through invoice on paypal. The main problem with this is that as the buyer receiving the invoice, it will ask you for a shipping address. This can not be avoided. After payment is made, I can go back and mark the paid invoice as not needing a tracking number or anything.
I swear upon my life I will never take the shipping address I receive and use them inappropriately (or at all really).
It's jsut a shitty thing that we can't seem to get around, and I understand that a lot of people would rather not reveal that sort of information to the artist they are buying from.
Huh, is it really forcing this? Thought the only issue was not to use the PP-Friends feature.
Well, about the adress - you can add as many adresses as you want to the presets. For purposes like this, I have one where I'm Empty Empty living in Emptystreet 0 0000 Emptycity
xD

In the end you could also write in a real adress which just doesn't belong to you, I guess.. Paypal is not directly identity-validated. It only is indirectly by connecting a valid bank acount but PP wont get your real address from there.

So, why is it forcing you to use Invoices? What exactly is changing? I always made sure when I paid someone to mark it as no shipping necessary, and dont particularly like getting invoices because it never had that option and I was giving my address out.
