trumpcare passed?

What?

Apparently trumpcare somehow by some bloody miracle or whatever passed and so far most of the people I've seen complaining about it are people who are already pretty filthy rich in the first place to begin with.

I bet these folks think it's also a good idea that taxpayers should be paying for health insurance instead of health insurance being provided itself already from the taxes they are already paying, but of course only the rich class would have a problem with this issue because it wouldn't be "fair" to them since it would be making the working class's lives easier and less stressful to live.

Nothing says spoiled brats being entitled to things they already have like being spoiled brats being entitled to things they already have in the first place.

You have to pay to insure other things which you consider to be valuable. Why not your health?

You can go without, and save money while running the risk that illness will cost more - maybe more than you can afford, in which case you die a horrible death. That sounds harsh, but it's the result of your choice. People who follow this religiously are exempted from paying - the Amish qualify, as do the Mennonites.

The problem is that poor people aren't OK with the risk of dying. They demand free emergency health-care, saying they deserve work done to preserve their health, regardless of whether they're paying for that work. Naturally, rich people object to this, because they're the ones who have to cover those who don't pay.

Imagine there was this guy who turned up to every party and ate and drank as much as everyone, but never brought anything, and made fun of the hosts for having the gall to ask for a 2L bottle of coke next time, because "everyone has to eat". That's what it means if you say that you shouldn't pay for health care.

Unfortunately there seems to be no way to put a doorman on the party, so perhaps what we need is some kind of "no-payer" brand. That way you wouldn't have to pay taxes, but you also get left to rot at the side of the street if there's an accident. Otherwise, it ends up being like national security - everyone has to pay.
