I am still needing help in raising the needed funds for a rental to get to my Grandmothers memorial service next week. For anyone that is asking why don't I fly, I have two answers.
1. If I fly down, I won't get any sleep for nearly 2.5 days as I would be taking the first flight out of DFW in the morning, thus me having to be at the airport no later than 0400 and making me extremely drowsy during her service (which would be a dishonor to her).
2. Family would have to drive an hour to get to the SAT airport before driving another 3 hours to where the service is being held.
I prefer to drive as I can get proper rest prior to hitting the road at 0200. With me being a night person, driving at night is easier than driving during the day and having a much smaller risk of having an accident. Also driving is therapeutic for me, driving calms me down as well as destresses me. Not to mention, I can easily get to my parent's place easier than they could get to me.
Please I am asking for everyone of my watchers to help spread the word. Spreading the word does help greatly.
I have already made a couple of reservations for a car from 5/8 through 5/11.
