Late FWA Report and other Life Updates

Well this needed to happen sooner XD;

FWA was a bit different this year. Due to alot of people having their own agendas for the year, I was wound up alone for a good chunk of it XD; That wasn't a bad thing, it was just kinda bleh trying to do things on my own x3 But I enjoyed it! No world of Coke this year, but then, everyone kinda lost interest anyway XD

One of the Highlights was me winning a New 3DS XL from a booth's raffle, so that was cool! Being on my own also helped me make some new friends, so yay! Like every other year, I've been roomies with @Fraddas and

LakotaLander

and Lakota's mate. I also got to hang out with

Tweaker

's crew again, but he had a full house to deal with XD;

The con was bigger this year too. It was really cool seeing everything expanded with the new space. It's definately staying on my list of cons to go to.

But let's get to why this journal took so long. As you might have noticed, Winter was a very active season for me. Secret Santa, a

Joeyboy

collaboration (slightly outside my comfort zone but still a lot of fun to do!) a commission, and my regular work too! Since February though, things have just... fallen apart for me. There's a lot of factors, but it revolves around a these main ones:

1.) Constant worry about our current government. I never really talked about my views before, but I'm a libertarian-leaning liberal, and even though I have conservative friends and family who tell me not to worry, there's still a few things that scare the shit out of me.

2.) My family: my grandma has been battling cancer since summer of last year. It's very likely this will be the end of her, and with having to put my dog down last fall... I'm still not exactly in the best of shape. We're planning to go to my cousin's wedding in the Summer, but I have to sacrifice AnthroCon due to the dates overlapping. So with all of that going on, it's really kicked up my depression. Both 1 and 2 lead me directly into...

3.) In order to just escape it all, I've dived deeper and deeper into World of Warcraft. Legion is a lot meatier an expansion than Warlords of Draenor, so I've had a lot of stuff to do. But all the time I've been putting into it, I've been neglecting my stories... forming my own guild hasn't really helped with that either XD;

So... yeah. I'm kind of a wreck right now. I'm doing what I can to keep myself afloat, but I'm finally starting to get my act together again, but it's not an easy road.

I hung out with tweaker the night before the last day of the con. I played some uno with him and his group. I was the duder in the beanie and sweater

Ha ha then probably no the only other time I was with him was when they were playing Mario 3 on that red desktop arcade emulator machine in the game room the same night
