So a lot of you didn't know, all last week I was sick, like really sick. i don't get sick often, but when I do, it hits me like a fucking truck.
That last image I posted took so long to complete because begin that sick made it difficult. So needless to say, this half of April hasn't been that productive.
I'm better now, and getting back on track. Expect to see more backlog commissions posted soon.
I also want to say, I wish so many people wen't so against the idea of patreon. Using it as a tip jar would be nice, and I used to actually have one, but I quit it because back then, patreon did little to nothing to protect their creators from user fraud. I don't know if they have improved things since then, but some sort of consistent tip jar would probably help me get though those rough patches every month. Not to say I'm in any financial danger, just that having a little extra moneyoutside of bills wouldn't hurt.
Also, I need to start saving up for a new mattress. Ever since our 4th roomie moved in, I gave up the bedroom I used to stay in for him, since he actually had belongings that required the space of a bedroom, which I came here with literally almost nothing. (he needed it WAY more than I did) Since then I have been living in well, the living room. using the couch as my bed. I don't mind this at all, but I feel like after sleeping on the couch for so long, that it is slowly breaking it apart. So now we're looking into getting a sort of futon mattress for me to sleep on. We have something make-shift so I cans top slowly breaking the couch, but it's not very comfy. like, i can only sleep for like 2 hours at a time on this thing. The house I live in now is actually very nice and accommodating, but it's just this thing...man....here, allow me to just show you.
So yeah, operation "Help Tanu Sleep Again" is under way. If anyone wants to donate to this cause, I would be more than happy to accept. A well rested artist = a happy artist = a productive artist.
