It's weird when you are really into art, drawing, painting, whatever, but life comes along and sucker punches you a few times in the groin and you lose interest. But then, months or even years later, you pick up where you left off and you realize, "Hey... I still like doing this!"
My one major road block is wanting a tablet and some art software. I don't mind pens and pencils on paper, but let's be real, it has it's limitations unless you're one of those painfully skilled artists who can draw and shade beautiful, photogenic pieces (which I am not). Problem? Holy shit tablets and software are such bank account killers.
It doesn't help I live in Colorado where "cheap rent" is a laughable myth, so most of my life gets dumped into that. But, little by little, maybe I'll make it eventually. Then I can start broadening one of my favorite pastimes. :3
