Enabling Us to Never Leave Our Homes Again

by
We truly live in an age of technological wonder. It is extremely amazing the things we can do with our technology nowadays. The one thing I want to talk about is Google and how Google has become an enabler for the lazy like me.

Today, I just ordered online for the first time ever, my groceries. It's going to be delivered tomorrow in the morning. Google loves anything that might help them squeeze more money out of us. With that said, I'm happy to say they finally have Google Express in my home town now. Being able to shop from home is so nice and convenient. If my profession was being and artist and I made money to live off of it, I could literally never leave my house again... hahaha. The next step I would like to see is their self driving cars. If I didn't have to own a car and still have the freedom to get around, that would make me so happy. At least if that's how it actually worked.

Now if they come up with something to wipe my ass for me, I don't think anything will impress me more than that.

Thank you Google for all the free** stuff you give us.

**When I say free, I mean binding you to a legal contract that takes away your privacy so they can sell it to third-party companies and the government. But hey, it's totally free. Yay… I guess.

Thug Life <3

On a side note, I am still working on a few art projects. I'm kinda working on them all at the same time which is taking a long time. The one thing I'm working on right now mostly is my personal sticker pack for telegram. I'm an artist and I still don't have a sticker pack for myself. I will also be working on little chibby art for Patreon tiers and a banner to make it more aesthetically pleasing. Anyway, thought everybody should know.

If you want to support anything I do for only a dollar or two, I have a Patreon like everybody else. The way I have it set up, you don't throw me a dollar until I post something worth that dollar. I don't post a lot so you don't have to worry about being charged too much. Any help, support, and coffee donations is extremely appreciated.

We're going to end up with a bunch of people who just never leave the house, I can see it.

Of course, that happens already to some extent, but moreso. It'll be like the Solarians - robots everywhere.

I believe it's going to be kind of half-and-half. Almost half of all of the people on this planet will be lazy and let the automation/robotics take care of all of our needs. The other half will be to energetic and outgoing. Those people will feel like we need a purpose. The good thing about automation is that we will still be able to explore and have more time to do some of the amazing things you normally can't because of responsibilities like employment. It will be interesting to experience the next 50 or so years of my life. We might irreversibly pollute the planet and kill off all the plants and the only thing we will have to show for it is artificial intelligence that can live after we die. Or everything will just be hunky-dory and we become a class one civilization exploring the stars and living in luxury. Who knows what will actually happen. I'm just here along for the ride.

That movie was so cute, my eyes exploded with rainbows and stars. You are right, they did call it. 😅

One step closer to buy n' large. Dunno man, I still like to pick and choose what I like manually for tactile comfort, not worrying if the guy getting it for me would care enough not to pick a bruised or damaged produce or get the shittiest and closest to expired meats and milk or screw up the order entirely. Plus I like to pay with cash and refuse to give these corporations any personal/financial information at all, as it's MY choice to do so, not theirs. Also a hat and sun glasses defeats their facial recognition at the self checkout; it may look ridiculous, but beats wearing recognition-defeating face paint.

Japan already has toilets that do that btw :3

Everything is becoming extremely more intrusive. There's a lot that you just can't avoid but you can try your darndest. I personally feel like some of the comforts are worth losing some of the privacy. There will come a point when they take too much private information that somehow will be leaked or stolen and used against you. Identity theft is one of them biggest and major things that happen in the United States. It's all thanks to our Social Security number which is not at all secure. I really check my credit report almost weekly to make sure my identity isn't stolen. I wish we had better privacy though. I don't know what I want really. Convenience and privacy can't go hand-in-hand. Paying in cash is a smart way to do it. Credit cards do give corporations the ability to track where you shop. Then they use that information to sell to third parties. That's one of the reasons you get junk mail in your actual postal box. Crazy stuff.
