After having a bit of a early-life crisis I am back. =3
Before I left I was trying hard, but not efficient. I forced myself to work all day everyday in hopes to get enough money, but what I was doing was burning myself out. I got stressed and left, but after being absolutely unsatisfied in the other job I found (working at a fast food place) I decided enough was enough and I am going to make this really be my art career. Sorry about the big break from me posting things, it was a detour in my life but I am striving to get back on track.
This time I am going to do what I want to do, and that is make awesome art. I want to get good! I want my art to be impressive, so that when people look at it they know it was made by an artist that knows their stuff. I feel like how my art is now is just the beginning. Art is my passion and it's going to be reflected in my pictures. =3
I am going to make my art career more professional. This is my small business and I am going to treat it like a job. I am going to do what I say I will do.(not have a project and suddenly ditch it without a word like I did with Mush's Expedition...)
Because life is expensive and I want the time I put into commissions to feel worth it I am having a significant price increase. I am going to make sure every picture the best I can make it. Income taxes are a bugger, so the increase will help with that too. I'll post my price sheet with exact numbers around the end of this month, I want to give myself some time to practice and make nice new example pictures.
I have big plans for the future! I am doing research into getting a 3D printer to make figurines to hand paint and sell, wouldn't a happy little mushroom Mush be so cute on your desk? Or a hula-Mush bouncing on your car's dash, or a cute little Mush magnet on your fridge. Or a naughty anthro Mush showing off her pussy. ;P I have 3D modeled one thing so far, so I still need lots of practice.
I am also planning on doing oil paintings on canvas but that will take a lot of practice so it will be more down the line.
I am going to be starting up stream commissions again. On Saturdays from 2pm PST to around midnight, $15 a character, 3 character max. =3
I have nice ideas of my own for YCHs, but I never seem to get the time to work on them when I am doing commissions. I am going to post some soon which will help fund my trip to BLFC this year. I am planning on some cute and naughty stuff, so keep an eye out! =3c
