Chat Issues

For those of you I chat with on Skype , for the past few weeks , going on a month Skype will not keep my settings or my password and it kicks me off if not as soon as I log in it boots me after anywhere from a few minutes to a hour later.
As of late I type everything in and as its loading it kicks me back to login.

So sorry but until Skype reply's I won't be on Skype.

No with work and life now Skype being a pain in the butt its been a mess, I can't even uninstall it fully to udate cause its telling me a part is missing so to remove I have to find the missing part . . ."0.o"

And THIS is why most of us migrate to Discord.
The problem you describe? I had it a COUPLE YEARS AGO.
And? Skype never fixed anything, and the problem keeps spreading to others =P

Situation doesn't sounds familiar to me, but what you can try to do is remove the Skype folder manually and then clean up leftovers with CCleaner, as well as remove installation record from the system, and then try to do fresh install. Such actions are usually last resort and by all means I personally try to avoid doing stuff like this, but I figured that in you position, it might be only solution for you.

Skype has an issue with their password reset system that actually has phishing built into it and they can't figure out how to fix it. That is why people that keep having to attempt to reset their passwords keep losing their accounts. Sorry you are having the issues. I myself when I heard that started to happen and they never fixed it and I saw so many friends getting phished I just quit the program myself and went to discord / telegram.

I must be one of the few rare ones not really suffering too many issues with Skype. When I upgraded to Win10 a couple years ago, it would just crash when minimized and wouldn't stay connected. I finally had enough and just uninstalled the whole thing and downloaded a whole new client just so I can use it with some stability. Though lately I migrated more to Telegram/Discord since Skype is looking like a sinking ship right now, too many issues, not enough responses from those in charge to save it.

I started having issues with Skype until I gave up and switched to Telegram.

Not too happy with that one either. It lacks features, I'm just waiting for them to upgrade it or something.
