And another one bites the dust

I suspect Fox News felt it was cheeper to get rid of Bill then bother to defend his name and reputation.

Good to know what Fox News really cares about in the end the bottom line.

Go go capitalism.

When it comes to money we know which way conservitives will jump.

It's a shame they didn't get rid of him solely on the fact he abuse and harassmed so many women.

They championed Mr. "Grab Her By The Pussy".  Like you said, it's all about the bottom line.

You know, Vox did a whole video on that. At first, Fox and Murdoch didn't like the guy at all, but they flipped on him fast due to a number of factors (mostly boiling down to the bottom line, though).

I know he was accused of abusing so many woman and there was a claim of so many million to make it go away.  I never heard if it was upheld then again all it takes at times is the accusation.   IF he did it then he deserves to be punished if he didn't do it that is another matter all together

If he is innocent he has the resources to fight it on his own, but they always settled the prior challenges with gag clauses in the deals.

There's also the custody fight he had with his wife, and the whole reason for the divorce as a sign of how he viewed and treated his own family.

If there wasn't a culture of sexual intimate at Fox, they would fight this openly and not behind closed doors. They just want it to go away quietly and with minimal financial cost.

It's the same mind set that the ceo of united had after they dragged that passenger off there plane.  They blamed the victim and tried to character assassinate the poor man up untill the lost 380 million off their stock value.

After the loss then they apologized.

They run the math which doesn't cover everything. Risk reward how much will doing the right thing do cost covering the loss.  GM and ignition switch, Ford and Firestone tires and so forth..
Its also why banks didn't implement chipped credit cards for so long. Fraud cost less then changing everything

Sigh. What offensive screeching douchebag with not-even-half-baked opinions and no sense of humility or decency will they push in his place? There's so many to choose from! :D

Hannity is the only real big name left that's unhinged.

Anyone else is clearly second string.

Yeah, seems like it was a slow news day yesterday.  CNN was reporting on the employment status of Fox reporters yesterday while I was having lunch at McDonald's, and mentioned this guy.

Well everyone was holding their breath about our "Huge" armada heading towards North Korea to deal with the "very bad man".

But turns out the  USS Carl Vinson carrier group was heading to Australia instead so there was a giant anti climax.

Oh, is that what was going on?  I live a few miles away from a military base, and we had a whole herd of C-5As heading north.  My father was convinced they were going to Alaska for some reason, but he scoffed when I suggested that Sarah Palin had started a civil war by throwing dead wolves at Washington.

This is the first journal I've seen today that mentioned this. I thought more people would be talking about this.
