I have searched for a new life,
searched for a new conscious.
A new Existence.
I have searched for happiness,
Reached out for my own Utopia.
All within my mind.
Every path like a branch.
Every branch splitting to a new stem.
I always find a new leaf.
A leaf that soon loses its green.
All I find are leaves.
Going further away from the tree,
Further onto another new branch.
Growing bored of the leaves.
Bored like a caged animal.
Seeking out a seed.
Reaching for an acorn that will grow a new tree.
The further I search,
I now prefer the leaves.
Am I still me?
