Somebody asked me about what sort of puppyplay activities to do. I'm not an expert, per se, and my stuff involve diapered puppies, but here are some thought, based on stuff I read, stuff I did, stuff I made puppies do (I've been a trainer a few times irl) and stuff I would rp about. Be free to offer suggestions !
- Commands. The base of puppyplay, they are easy to do and to put someone in the correct state of mind. Sit. Stay. Lie down. Roll over. Shake. Fetch my slippers, Get the newspaper, or Suck my dick (if you want to add some sex). They don't require much gear, and bring a lot of embarassment to the puppy. Crawling around with my diapered butt showing while playing dead, fetching, tugging on a toy or cuddling is something really enjoyable and quite a cute sight.
- Dog food. I don't suggest eating real dog food when you are an human (outside of rp) because it is not really safe for humans, but there is a lot of ways to simulate it. As a trainer, I often used chicken nuggets. Cut in half, they are easy to eat off a doggy bowl (works also with ice cream for desserts *giggles*). The main point is to make sure the puppy use only his mouth. Mittens are of course quite welcome for that.
- Behavior is another important element of training. As a trainer you want to shape your pup to do things you like without having to always order them. You may want her/him to curl up at your feet, sit quietly in the corner, or retire to a large doggie bed in another room. As such, you have to train him to do so, by telling him to do it, use a rolled-up newspaper to spanks him if he doesn't do it and reward him when he does, until its second nature to your pup. If you want your puppy to bark, whine, scratch, or growl, include this in the training. Many Masters teach their puppies to hump their leg or boot (allowing them no sexual contact or release other than this), do it if you want to (it works especially well with puppies who are in chastity belt, which as people who know me, is something I do enjoy). Isn't it cute to have a diapered puppy whine or beg for food ? Of course, your human dog may love to lick your chest and face, always show him when to do so and how to do it correctly.
- Leash : your puppy needs to get used to being walked on a leash and carrying items around in his mouth. That is really important, and also really symbolic : he is your pup and the fact you are holding his leash and your name is on his collar is a constant reminder. While it can always be done outside irl (mundane people tend to mind such things) it is a primordial part of training to learn them to love the leash and live with it. I've trained some difficult pup to show me they wanted to be a puppy by bringing me their leash in their mouth.
- Bathroom training for a human dog is often the same as for their animal counterparts. Masters can choose to train their dog to go outside, lifting his leg and pissing against a tree (for boys) or squatting and pissing in the grass (for girls). Teach your dog to go on a pile of newspapers in his cage or in the garage if going outside is not possible. Since I'm into diapers, this usually is only meant to fail : they'll go back into diapers as soon as I tricked them into failing that training. Lots of drinks, maybe some diuretics, and unrealistic time to wait until going out will do that (quite good to put a clock in front of them and tells them to wait until a certain hour, so they see how long they have to hold...).
- Dog tricks. For puppies, their favorite part of the play is often getting to play, curl up at their master's feet, or getting a good head and belly rub for a job well done. You can train your puppy to get up on her hind legs and beg for a scrap or a treat. You can teach him to sniff out your dirty socks or underwear with his eyes closed, going only by his sense of smell. Perhaps you want to train your puppy to fetch a stick, play with a ball, chase cats, roll over and play dead, or catch small bits of food thrown at him in his mouth. Like all behavior explained earlier, it's easy to do with stick (spankings, time-out) and carrot (cuddling, treats). Just go for it once you have put everything else in place. One step at a time. One thing I used to do was to make them have a treat on their nose or head (easier in rp, I know) and make them wait until they can let it down and eat it.
