Status update

Alternate title, "the penguins wont let me have peace." TLDR at the bottom if you want the cliff notes.

Hello folks. Your semi friendly neighborhood Spec here letting you all know what is going down with things.

First of, fans of Twilight Eros, Tiny Eros, and Order of Pengu, I am still writing. I do not have writers block like last time when I didn't post anything for months... Sorry about that again

I am however doing another passion side project for

Toshubi

who recently had some major surgery done. He is out now and recovering but still, send him your positive thoughts and well wishes if you can. If not for him I wouldn't be writing Tiny Eros.

That being said I had originally planned on the side project to be maybe a short 10 page, one shot short story. I'm not up to 22 pages and it has become a five part mini series. The lesson learned here, don't become a writer unless you really have the passion to do it. You will lose your freakin mind.

I will talk with

when I get the chance to see how he wants to handle posting said story as there are some spoilers for Tiny Eros. But knowing him he will let me decide what to do.

But again, I have ideas for what to do with the next chapters of Twilight, TIny, and Pengu and have been bouncing ideas off @Spacestrawberry,

In personal life, things have been okay. Getting decent grades in my classes and have an Idea of what I'm going to take for the summer. Just gotta keep on the ball rolling so I don't fall behind. There was some discrepancies as far as how many units one class i wanted to take was but that should be fixed soon.

Speaking of keeping the ball rolling, I had some issues with my medication for my diabetes lately. The discount card I originally had expired and the new one the doctors gave me didn't even cover half of the cost. So after less then a month of pills left I was able to get a hold of people that said there is a way I can get my medication free again. Catch is, gotta fill out even more paper work next week. Well still beats paying 300 a month to not die from sugar shock and nerve damage.

Lastly, I don't know why I've been getting seriously depressed the last couple of days. Might be a combo of cabin fever and bad weather as Iv'e been inside making phone calls most my spring break. Well I'm trying to stay positive and I'm gonna try and turn things around by going and and maybe going to the cherry blossom festival this weekend. Cause Sunday gotta fix a leaking sink then back to school

TL,DR version:

No writers block, small project became bigger then expected, expect new chapters soon. School is going well, taking summer classes. Medication went up but found way around cost. Depressed due to being suck indoors gonna try and fix this weekend by going out. Catch ya all later.

What are you taking about Dirty? Penguins are carnivorous. They already have a taste for blood.

I'm sorry Raven. Yes you are part of the entourage. As punishment for not including you in the journal I shall sit in the corner and drink horrible American beer while I think about what I did wrong. I will also eat stale pretzels because there are few things worse then stale pretzels.

The Pretzels are fair, but we can't have you do that thing with American beer, that'd be inhuman and cruel punishment. I therefore reprieve your sentence to the use of Becks. While still bad enough, at least we won't show up on the front page of the Amnesty International report for it ;)

about the mini story going into a miniseries. I can relate. Fox in the City was supposed to be one story about a shy fox that with the help of her friend helps her get over her fears and move on in life. now I'm on the 3rd story done 2 mini comics of it and starting a side comic series ...

It happens, especially when merging within an existing world. Look at NCIS. Was originally a JAG spin off and now it has three shows and how many seasons?
