We had received some complaints regarding the chat system we had on Drako's Den that was powered by out Pliner.net server.
The primary complaint was in regards to the size of the Ajax Chat Window that was embedded onto the site, which was a bit small for any reasonable RP's. Opening to the full chat window made no change in the physical size of the Applet.
Recently, we have noticed that the chat system stopped working properly. In many browsers, it would refuse to load embedded and make users click the link to the full window chat. In other browsers, the embed didn't load at all, leaving users unable to access the chat at all.
With that in mind, we have made a big change to Drako's Den Chat.
We made a decision that should have been made years ago: Drako's Den Chat is now an IRC Channel on AnthroChat.
This allows our admins full admin access to the chat, and allows our users to access Drako's Den Chat using any IRC client.
This also means that we also have a new AJAX Applet on the Chat Page (and full size link on our Mobile site) that loads directly into Drako's Den Chat on IRC.
That being sad... Drako's Den Chat is an 18+ Only IRC Channel Available through Anthrochat. Users can always login from our official website: http://drako.funurl.com Or users can enter #Drako_Den on irc.anthrochat.net using any IRC Client.
Drako is still hanging out in there regularly and is still willing to have scenes from the chat drawn and any artist who joins Drako's Den Chat is also encouraged to draw any characters, scenes, or ideas from the chat at any time. Our only request is that the art is either submitted to our Gallery or shown to us via a link - and we ask that you tell us if it is ok to use said art as header images here on Drako's Den.
Users wanting to be included in any of these art scenes must have a decent Description and/or a link to any reference pictures of your character(s) on the Description Board.
