I don't think the term ambiguously gay can be used for these two ever again

Okay while I'm not a huge fan of the New Looney Tunes Show it's not a bad series

But I'm rather liking there depictions of the Goofy Gophers Mac & Tosh.  They are so obviously a couple and while they have some stereotyped behavior it's not to bad they most stereotypically gay thing is that they run an antique shop together and are very polite.  But Due to the fact that the show is still "for kids" they will most likely never be reveled as a couple

I think they creators have tried to lay the rumors to rest in the form of this merrie melodies video:
http://youtu.be/b8bQTaNIF_E
Sorry that the only copies of the piece seem to be camera's pointed at the tv  but this is the best of the lot

I cant be the only one to think that would definitely but an end to any arguments on if they are or are not a gay couple.  I mean come on, putting aside the amount of running hand in hand they do, there are several points in that video that it would not have been shocking to see a kiss,  the Ice-cream scene itself would have been the best one for a kiss in my opinion.  and it ended with both Gophers giving the camera a wink as they said they were best friends heavily implying there is more to there relationship.

Like I said it'll never be confirmed while on the air and if were lucky we might get a word of god about them sometime in the future like with Lexington from gargoyles (my favorite gargoyle and I was so happy to find that out),  Or Arnold's teacher from Hey Arnold,

But any way I realy like this video and Mac and Tosh, and I for one think they are a cute couple

Oh wow, just watching that video I get the same vibe you do, although it could be because I read what you said before watching it.

Either way, there's a bunch of sexual tension, delicious sexual tension.

interesting...
I didn't know that Lex was considered homosexual in the gargoyles series... very interesting :3

yeah the creator stated that Lex was always planned to be gay and not acknowledging it in the show was a copout but disney would never have permitted it.  when he started the comics under Slave labor's label he introduced Stagheart  a British deer gargoyle as a love interest for the little green cutie.  but the series was never finished

I've suggested to RottenRobbie a few times to make a pic about those two, didn't seem like he cared to XP
but I swear someday a pic of those two will be made to reveal just how gay they truly are. every time I see them I think "OMFG so damn cute! they are so gay!" I mean, seriously, one is constantly dressing in feminine clothing while the other isn't. they hold hands and lick that ice cream cone together, and it had to be vanilla XP

well, yes they are totally and utterly (ambiguously) gay =p
though I've realized so far in this series of Looney Tunes they tend to force the idea of the characters having girlfriends or looking for girlfriends.

never seen the new loony toons and i only saw them in one episode in the old loony toons always thought they were brothers.

Exactly, They always seemed like brothers, possibly twins, who were raised as if they were one person with two bodies. The excessive politeness almost screams of an abusive childhood, where any rudeness was severely punished, nobody, but nobody can be THAT polite ALL the time; even Mother Theresa had 'cranky days.'

I agree in the old show the label of them being a couple like that wouldnt have fit

but lots of things end up changed in the new show

I mean in this version the lod loonet tuny which is charactorised as a sassy black woman

In the old shorts, I stand by them being twins or brothers (or something along those lines). Just have that sort of vibe to them, to me anyway.

But in the newer series, from what I have seen, they most certainly could be a couple.

To quote Terry Pratchett, those two are gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. The funniest part of this clip for me is Pepe mackin' on the human girl. The funniest part of that is she seems to be into it.

Mine too since the series first started.  I'll admit I did a little fan boy squee when I found Lex was gay.  which struck me as odd why was I so happy about that it's not like I can get a date with him.
