Just been having issues with my left ear stopping up and building up pressure like its clogged and then clear itself out. It's been on and off for a couple of weeks and here I am thinking its the change of in the weather in NYC.
Yesterday, it became painful. Very painful. But it went away. Today, it returned, worst than yesterday! Went to Metropolitan Hospital ER to get it checked out. It was a bad day for them. But I was eventually seen and checked out. Though the doc could not find an infection, does not mean there is one. The hint was, when using the adult ear tool, he could not see anything, so they had to get an infant one and use it on me and they found nothing wrong. But that means my ear canal might be swollen to use the adult tool on me. And it was painful too with the adult tool but OK with the infant tool. Will be put on penicillin for 10 days and get to see my doc afterwards.
Just in case, I was given an ECG to check my heart, as it is a sign of a heart attack (pain in the neck, jaw and ear is a sign of a heart attack). Nope. Heart is fine. Better than fine. They could not believe it!
Pray for me. Sacrifice a rat or a roach to what gods you believe in. This pain is unbearable, but I can deal with it. Hopefully I pick up the meds in the morning and things can start clearing up soon. Hopefully I should be fine in a couple of days. Just one more pill to swallow, though it is just temporary.
