Mmm how about normal Shadow, and the baby turns into a Black Arms half-breed?
This could be a really interesting story on it's own but I can see two good stories here from those options =D

Ultimate Lifeform Shadow kinda sounds better to me. As for the baby...Black Arms halfbreed.
And I think two separate stories would be really interesting.

Cool another alien fanfic from u! I love them so much XD it's like you basing it on horror stories then the good stuff to contrast it. I vote turned into black arm! So Shadow is normal obv at the start then change due to whatever reason in mind. Which could affect the child aswell. I like your alternatives, while I take those as the top.
It's a shame whomever you are co-op with isn't around :(
Is that why your releases less frequently ? But then again...I remember you being a multitasker. Write more stories at once XD besides I noticed you made a few updates on fanfic account. I prob should take that back! But that recent alien story was just WOW! I can totally understand you making another. Must have been lots of fun just writing it^^

Wondering! This person u speak of do u work the same way we did back in the days? Or simply sharing ideas ? I will soon reply to u on the fanfic btw. Just got sidetracked!

I think I do take a lot of inspiration from horror movies and stories and whatnot, although I don't watch it as much. XD

Yeah, she's sort off going through some stuff and is being a bit absent. I just wish she'd talk to me about them. :/

Actually, my releases have been more frequent actually. Both here and on DA/FF.Net. I've gotten a bit of my inspiration back. XD
That recent alien story took a long ass time to write! XD But it was fun nonetheless. ^^ I think I actually got the inspiration from watching a let's play of 'Alien: Isolation'.

I have actually strayed far away from RPs, though some stubborn people still ask me about doing them, even though I've mentioned once or twice that I don't like doing that anymore. ;-;
My friend and I just shared ideas and tell eachother what we think and help come up with titles or make decisions related to the plot. Beta-reading too.

Well came to think of, did you solo the colony story then? Because yeah 93K...I am happy if I reach 3k! But then again it's never a one shot. But I can't top u! Usually I would vote for shadow ultimate life form but I really like ur options to much. Hard decisions! It makes sense although the egg already have its DNA but I am sure that would get corrupted by alien influences.

Same, I get asked too but meh! Even if I did then it prob wouldn't be as good as the ones we did anyways. But the problem with Rps is the lack of plot. Commonly running blind at times which was annoying XD
Also most ppl tend to do that simple rp which is boring. So yeah I prefer co-op a story since it's focused on a plot and ideas not made within two seconds.

I did write it solo. I write all of my fics solo. I just sometimes ask help making decisions and whatnot. ;u; But when my stories are Multi-chaptered they are either at least 10kB (on DA and FF.Net) or 40Kb (on Inkbunny).

Yush, there were some very hard decisions to make because I like both and simply could not decide between either. XD
Though the child is already half Shad and half whoever knocked him up, it could get corrupted by that foreign DNA.

Yeah, unfortunately, my replies are short and not at all indepth simply because I don't like to put energy in RPs. ^^;
Not just the lack of plot, but sometimes also the way other people write other characters. I like my Sonics and Shadows a certain way, it's how I write them in my fics, but I like them closer to their canon versions instead of the complete opposites they are supposed to be. People often tend to write them like that.
I like Shadow to be a little edgy as opposed to not edgy at all or just way too edgy. A.K.A Shadow blushing all the time for no particular reason or Shadow hating the entire world when clearly canon Shadow does not.
Eh, I'm currently doing a co-op fic because a long-time friend asked me, one that has nothing to do with Sonadow, but I find myself to be able to work better on my own. XD

Well, I just don't like the thought of the baby being a halfbreed period...unless, of course, it starts out that way when it's first conceived, and as you've already mentioned, Shadow's already close to labor when the Black Arms invade. Just my personal opinion, that's all. Besides, I'm curious to see how else things might play out if the baby stays normal.

I see where you're coming from. Having an unborn change is indeed the stuff of horrors and I also had doubts about making the change an options at all. But this story isn't supposed to end badly for the child, if that worries you. :)
One of the two stories will have the child stay normal. ^^

More than it just being my opinion, it's actually because of Shadow that I voted to keep the baby normal. In all honesty, I'm all for torturing my favorite hedehog in any and all ways possible, and as far as I'm concerned, since it's Shadow, the possiblities are practically endless, but transforming his baby into one thing when it's already been conceived as another combined with whatever else he'll be going through...it might send him too far over the edge, if you ask me.

If the story was meant to be focused more on the baby, though, I'd have chosen differently, regardless of my opinion on the matter...or my feelings for Shadow.

Looking forward to it either way, though! ;D

You're right, having the baby stay the same might help him through whatever I'll be putting him through in the fic. If I do change it, especially when a non-Ultimate Lifeform Shad suddenly has his life turned upsidedown in such an unreal way, it just might make him lose his sanity. So you're correct in thinking this way. ^^

Yeah, I think Shadow would be traumatized enough as it is...and being pregnant, he'd already be stressed and his emotions would be going haywire. Stress + erratic emotions + trauma does not sound like a pleasant experience. But it does make a very interesting story.

I'm so excited to read it that I could hardly sleep last night. I just couldn't stop thinking about how it'll turn out. Call me loony, but when it comes to stories...I'm kinda psychic...

Oh, I see. ^^; Actually, I have been working on the Ultimate Lifeform version first as I have a feeling the one with normal Shadow will be a bit longer. ^^;

That sounds like a good idea to me. It's always best to get the shorter stories done first...that way, there's more time to do the longer ones.

If you knew me in person, I can gaurantee you'd be surprised that I said that...when it comes to torturing my favorite characters, I tend to be downright evil.

It's just a little difficult to figure out someone's reaction over the internet, that's all.
