I'm not sure if I liked it more than the first one but it's definitely was much better than the second, I felt it was kinda long but it hit the right points (mostly, I didn't care much for Diva's backstory and I felt it had a big resimplance to Marik's backstory but whatever, also I'm still convinced tgat Marik's name is actually Malek and 4kids just fucked up).

I've noticed, also the Monster Reborn card was less edited this time around than before, I wasn't sure if it really was 4kids or not cause I remember hearing back then that 4kids are no longer together but maybe they still are? Anyway the censoring was very little this time around in comparison.

4kids actually folded after, ironically enough, a lawsuit involving the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise. It was found out that they weren't paying the necessary royalties to TV Tokyo when Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's was airing, and a lawsuit forced them into bankruptcy (this is also the reason why the dubbbed 5D's series ended around 20 episodes earlier than it was supposed to). They do exist now as 4Licencing, but no longer are involved in show production-- instead, they just deal with licensing rights for shows (an example would be Chaotic-- remember that on 4Kids? It ended production around the same time, but 4Licensing still owns the rights to it). Currently, Konami has full rights to the Yu-Gi-Oh TV shows after 4kids folded (they bought out 4kids's former production division).

I keep hearing so much shit from TV Tokyo regarding Yi-Gi-Oh copyrights and what not, they keep removing videos on Youtube and such, and I thought TMS were bad, but it makes perfect sense they'd be pissed if 4Kids weren't paying them for the royalties of the show, guess my guess was true about the movie being dubbed by the same guys but not the same company, hence why it wasn't much censored like the show was.
