Sound Sources

Alright so I get a lot of questions about where I get my sounds. Some people I think are just curious, other people want to use them, others want to know if I'm doing anything illegal. X3

So I search the internet a lot for sounds, youtube and SoundSnap are probably my two biggest sources, but you have to buy them from Soundsnap (and I'm pretty sure they would be pretty surprised to see what I'm using them for!)

No I'm not doing anything illegal, nor do I want to, as much as some people seem to want... >;(

Yeah, I already knew you weren't doing anything wrong. But because you give props to realistic sound, everyone freaks out. You keep doing what you do

freak out is little to say... That sounds almost like RL things. definitely can't watch those animations without backing off seconds after it even starts playing, feeling guilt... I mean it. and it's not cool at all.

I understand your position and feelings, but everyone is different. All of those sounds in those animations can easily come from a host of things, recordings of family fights, animals at pounds or the vet, all sorts of places which while they are real are not from the sources that you imagine. Only a fool would take sound clips from actual criminal activity and use them in flash animations, especially if it was from something as extraordinarily taboo as CP. I can easily divide the reality from fantasy and this all is pure fantasy bolstered by cleverly cut together sound bytes from various sources, and he/she has, on several occasions directly linked to the sources they used to put everyone at ease. Some people just don't listen. If it's not your cup of tea, then fine. I just hope that you understand that it's meant to be dark and visceral, without being illegal.

I do understand that you said nothing illegal was happening. I was still wondering though, where specifically did you get the source sounds of the young girls crying? Were they actual people of that age crying or were they just adults with, like, a pitch shift?

I’ll just be straight: If it’s alright, me, and some other people, would feel a lot better if we knew where you got the sounds, in my case, specifically the crying sounds from the one where the girl is lying with her back on the table, and her intestines are ripped out, and she shits, etc. It’s not because we’re all shaming. It’s just you’ve made a video that sounds very realistic and it would be nice to know where it came from, if that’s alright with you.
