So some serious news here...

by
so if you guys haven't heard, a former  victim of the worldwide human trafficking ring  came out about it on Dr. Phil's show and gave her narrative on what happened to her. I'll link you the Tumblr page here: http://kasaron.tumblr.com/post/158751233715/mainstream...

But it's sad. I can't say I ruled out whether or not #pizzagate was real or not. but many of us were hip and aware that the rich elite and those in political power  were likely using their status to get away with some sick shit. what's worse is,  when I even discussed pizzagate  to friends and family,  their reactions weren't of disbielief, but that of "what can we do about it?"

Honestly, that saddens me.

I can't say my stomach is curling,  Like the Patriot Act, I can say I'm aware, but couldn't confirm until now.

It's a bit sad that just because we're in modern times, that people naively believe that there is nobody in a position of power, be it by wealth, politics, or status, who is lacking in morals and isn't above taking advantage of others and personally benefiting off of suffering.

It's disgusting that this shit still happens, but all the same it's sad to think that humans have changed simply because public society has. A few key psychological traits still exist, such as Machiavellian (atypical willingness to manipulate or use others for personal gain, with disregard for the consequences to said others), Narcissism, Sociopathy.....

Some people are just fucked up, and yet we're so blind to their successes  that we let shit slide  and don't hold them accountable.

Well, part of it is general apathy from the main populace, an "I don't want to hear it/refuse to believe it" stance when shit gets brought up, unless it's announced by a major source they quickly believe such as mainstream media in which case it blows up, and part of it is said major media outlets are owned by part of the same established system that does this, so even if they didn't have any part in it they'd obligated to not talk about it or help keep it under blackout because of something else they might have more interest in. A sort of "We've all got skeletons in the closet, so nobody say anything bad about each other" type of mutual obligation/unwritten agreement.

I mean, I did a few basic searches and naturally none of this is on the major outlets (which I don't trust anymore anyways, obviously), but I haven't seen anything up front on the other places I frequent. Admittedly, I haven't heard of Dr. Phil before, are they the only ones talking about this right now?

This makes #pizzagate all the more deplorable. We blame the goverment and a poor pizza joint owner for this shit and meanwhile the real performers of human trafficking get off scot-free as a result.

I honestly thought  that it was a red herring meant to deflect  the attention from the real issue. Sure Podesta is a creepy motherfucker, but if pizzagate was bait, then many of us got played bad.

Absolutely disgusting!
This entire situation is incredibly frustrating!

Of course, there are going to be people that are ready to go on a mass crusade with this being released to the public, but that's an issue for another day. Right now, we need action taken to prevent any more victims. If Trump follows through on his word and puts some serious manpower into this no matter how many politicians on both sides it throws under the bus, then he will have gained a large amount of respect from me.

You must be too young to remember all the previous times this entire narrative was "uncovered" with great scandal... just to be proven a hoax.

Back in the 80's there was the "Satanic panic". The details were very similar, there were "witnesses" who claimed to have been sex slaves for years and toured the talk show circuit telling how they had been repeatedly raped since childhood and gave birth to babies which were sacrificed to the Devil (one of such claimants was medically examined and found to be actually virgin) Eventually it was found to be all false. Not one single piece of evidence was found, it was all done for TV ratings.

Right, that is a possibility, but this does still need to be examined, because, what if this actually did happen? It would be far worse to ignore an actual victim rather than waste time on a false story.

The old cases I mentioned were thoroughly investigated and not a single shed of evidence was found. Of course, the conspiracy theorists claimed that as proof the FBI was part of the ring.

I don't know about the present case, but I find it interesting how many details are identical.

From what I recall,  after Ashton Kutcher and John McCain created that program to track and hunt down  child molesters, mass arrests happened worldwide from mid-January to early February this year. But each of its  convicts were common people, not people with wealth  or a particular political status.

Even in  Ashton's  press conference, he made a reference to another Hollywood actor who had passed away who had publicly came out about being  molested as a child actor by producers and promoters,  it's likely  this could be happening, or this could e a red herring derailing the actual situation. Still, it's scary either way.

I'm not saying it doesn't happen. What I doubt it that is happens at the huge scale those sensationalist shows want us to believe. It would imply such a wide reaching conspiracy, including the complicity of law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

There are of course sick perverted people in the world, but to assume they have a whole mafia-like thing, so perfectly organized and which have maintained such an impenetrable level of secrecy for decades... Sounds a little too far fetched.

You seem like the only one here with some sense, to be honest. It seems farfetched and there isn't really any proof. If something like this was uncovered and evidence was found, this story would be everywhere. Also, stories like that are good for ratings which is probably what it's about. Pedophilia is one of the most hated things ever, if not the most hated, which has a lot of power and can easily get attention. Using it for ratings is just sick. I'm not sure anything on that show is even real. Real fake maybe. Just like 99.9% of TV.

P.S. that lady must not know that you don't develop long term memories until you're 3.
