Since we're all pretty sick of the winter and its gray color palette I figured it is time to sort out the bad news from the good news. Call it spring cleaning if you will, while I refer to the title of this journal.
For you see, there are some questions left unanswered and little to no traditional artworks have been made lately. There is one exception to this, and it's a current commission in the works from our esteemed fellow user
Before the explanation let me all thank you for your support! I really appreciate every watch, favorite and especially comment, the community has been very kind to me~ Of course, you are free to come and go as you please, so no harsh feelings upon any reaction to what I am about to say. We are after all very civil and there was never any problem with anything here. A very sweet and appreciative community indeed! :3
Okay, let's start with the block in the road first; I have acquired a physical job outside illustration and drawing. Since I've been an illustrator for a couple of years and always enjoyed drawing naughty commissions and free stuff it was time to move on and look for other things in life. I do not have the commodity of an intact family, rent freedom nor any financial backup outside the paychecks and commission fees, so in order to maintain this account and my passion for le pr0n du jour I'm going to split the activity on this account and reduce my contributions to one or two commission slots per month. It saddens me to execute this decision, but extreme situations require extreme measures.
Fear not, for you will still receive artworks - just not as frequently as before. At this point a huge "10-Q" to you guys for being so patient! The commissions are currently closed, just look out for eventual updates on journals and/or PM me anytime you like and try your luck! That way I won't promise things I couldn't keep or delay business unnecessarily. I owe you guys that much!~
And how to wash away the bitter taste of bad news but with good news? As we have often announced, me and my partner dreamcastzx1 are constantly working hand in hand for stuff on our Patreon account "Dreamrifle". The procedure is easy to follow: We have one premium content comic coming out simultaneously with a free one. Both patrons and free users get to enjoy our stories, the support is very encouraging and everyone is happy.
Some of you have asked if we are going to publish our Patreon premium content eventually. The definitive answer is already given at the end of the previous sentence. We make it highly dependant on support and recension, which means that as long as the backup remains great, the chances are heightened to do so at given time. Not a sure warranty, but we never close our doors entirely either. We love both the generous souls and the talktative audience, and both should get the benefit of "possibly".
Other people also asked me why there's so little content lately except for the collab works with dreamcastzx1. Aside from the given explanation in the above paragraph, I do all sketching, writing, staging etc. in three comic series at once.
