Drawing programs for Linux (recommendations?)

by
For my future working laptop I wanted to get a Linux OS instead of Windows 10 (Don't like it. Want to get away from MS in general).

I also wanna use that laptop to draw, but on Linux I can't use Sai. So I wanted to knows if there are any artists/people who know artists who use Linux and can recommend me a program.

(Note: I don't need a overview over what is available. I can get these myself. I an purely up for recommendations, preferably from first hand.)

I use GIMP for coloring over graphite and manipulating drawings, but I haven't used it with a touch sketchpad.  it's free and you can try it out in windows.  it's quite adequate for my purposes.

Ahh, ok. I am using gimp for my gifs. There are even add ons to it that can make it a proper drawing program. Though three whole thing is a bit more complicated, so not my first choice there.
