About a week ago, I was watching vids on YouTube where people were taste testing odd food pairings. One video that I saw was of the group of Cinemascare taste testing pizza toppings from the old TMNT series. Most of the pizzas they tried got bad reviews, however one got a thumbs up from everyone- marshmallow and pepperoni.
Being bored, and craving a late night snack, I decided to warm up some pepperoni pizza from Pizza Hut. I then spread some marshmallow cream onto the warmed up slices... and snuck my teeth into them. The taste... omg! I haven't had such a great combo since I tried curried pepperoni pizza with balsamic drizzle. The flavors worked off one another very well. The robust flavor of the sauce, the spicy pepperoni; and the sweetness of marshmallow work over the taste buds and coat them with an epic flavor tango. Personally, I give this combo five stars!
If you are up to it, and decide to not count calories for the day, I strongly suggest that you give this pizza a shot.
