Depends on what I want to see. Between the two, I tend to default to R34 unless I'm looking for furry. If I'm actually looking for specific poses or kink combinations, though, I'm probably gonna use danbooru or gelbooru.

rule 34 is really nasty if you dont have an ad-block, especially on phones. And it's kinda redundant since the underage ban. What's the point of a "porn of everything" site, if it doesn't have everything? Even though it's not well enforced.

Out of the two I find myself going to 34 more often. I suppose it's because unless I'm following somebody on a specific site (which I use other sites like this one for) I look for fan art of series I'm familiar with instead of original content, and the rule 34 sites have a focus on that compared to e621. That plus it's where I find most of the human art I look at, since E621 and other furry based places only have a percentage of human content compared to it, and non-furry based art sites besides 'rule34' style or boorus each have their own issues that don't deter me completely... but it's easier to just check rule 34 every couple of days to see what's new and where the sources come from.

Paheal is nice if you have an adblocker for it, what with the popups and such. Got a ton of variety and such. However for furry stuff e6 is a no brainer. Pretty much purely for furry content and it uses specific tagging so you can search for certain things like species and what not. Paheal only uses general tags so you can only really search for characters, artists, and franchises.

Rule34 has only fanart, and sorts ONLY by characters, fandom and artist (but the art sourcing is usually TERRIBLE). It does allow human-only stuff, though. Don't remember if shota's still kosher. So I tend to use e621 more. since 99% of the time I couldn't care less about female stuff.

I go to e621 by default. R34 is so horrific with the ads that if you have a proficient ad-blocker it will actually lock up your system sometimes trying to force ads through. That and the restrictions of certain types of art usually make me leave any site.
