COMMISSIONS I will be closing commissions for a time to work on my own art. Am thinking of offering other types of commissions when I open again (not YCH, they just don't work for me, but perhaps some kind of adoptables).
SIZE MATTERS 2 Amazing how long this comic took, has been over 2 years since I started it... Anyway, I want to offer a HD download of it like I did with SIZE MATTERS 1. I am going back over it now to tidy some stuff up (mainly the style of the speech bubbles by using a more appropriate font. I will do the same thing with SIZE MATTERS 1). I'll post another journal with more information on this when it's done.
EXTRA MATTERS I want to do more of these in the short term between now and the next comic. Have some ideas on pages but I'm open to suggestions for anything you guys want to see. Also have some more character sheets to complete and I want to do a piece for each species.
NEXT COMIC I've decided to do something a bit different for the next comic. I want to introduce the thoughts of the characters to better flesh out what's going on in the world, rather than me half explaining it in the description and comments. The other is having chapters, which will tie into the character thoughts with each chapter from the perspective of one character.
The next comic will be called NETHER MATTERS and is the story I was originally planning to have come out before SIZE MATTERS 2 where Desmond is bound to his nether, Giada. I have changed it a lot from the original and introduced some things that would have been in the epilogue of A STORY NEVER TOLD, but with that cancelled I wanted to tie up some stuff that overlapped SIZE MATTERS 2. It will include Chani, Desmond, Tabatha, Sylvester, Jake, Simon and Aldreda (and all of their little Nethers!). The reason why I wanted to do this one is it fleshes out a lot more of the other characters and it is a good example of how Nether Dragons work. It set's up a good base for future stories with these characters if I continue and it also makes some parts of SIZE MATTERS 2 clearer.
I don't know when I'll start posting it but I will make an effort to post more information as I progress, but I have written the whole thing and have started sketching up the pages. NETHER MATTERS will be a clean comic.
Other than that I do have another comic in mind, but it's early stages. Will not include any characters from the previous ones and will be set in another part of Monumendo with other species. It will be an adult comic.
A story never told is cancelled? Awww, man. I didn't know that. I was really curious and had a lot of fun reading it up til now. You may have written the reason somewhere else, but I sadly missed it. May I ask why it is cancelled?
Anyways, I am always looking forward to more from you. Monumendo is a really interesting world and all your characters are very lovable. So I can't wait. :)

Ah, sorry I didn't post anything about it. There were various reasons but I think the main one was we both ended up on different pages for what the story was about. It's unfortunate, but I'm happy with what we did get published, and story threads I imagine will get tied up and explained in other stories. What was published definitely was an interesting read. It is always sad, when projects come to an end before they are finished, but it is also important to realize when the collaborateurs drift apart (concerning the vision of the project). So it is understandable. Creating is tough solo and it is tough in a duo.
Seeing as your world and characters feel very complete, I had imagined the story threads coming back sooner or later. So more stuff to be curious about.

Yeah, it made sence to be clean. If I'd added adult scenes they wouldn't have fit with the tone. Weirdly enough I found the adult pages the most boring to draw in Size Matters, the build up is the most fun. Stand alone images are fine, but you kinda get tired of drawing out the scene.
I've got one commission to finish up then I'll try and get some streams going :)
