(sigh) Another week, another tempting Playstation sale. Problem is, my cash reserves are tapped this month. I'm tempted to do commissions for some extra pocket change, but I don't want to draw anything too challenging... definitely not a comic. Maybe some color portraits or one panel gags; the kind of thing that doesn't take too long to finish and won't cause me too much stress. Also, speaking of the Playstation... there's a game called Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion that costs $1 on the Playstation Store. Sure, the price sounds tempting, but you definitely, definitely don't want to buy this crap. It's a joyless fighting game that misses the mark as both a Smash Bros. clone and a tribute to Cartoon Network's best shows. They didn't even get the original voice actors to play the characters! Plus Captain Planet is in here because... uh, why is Captain Planet in here exactly? Playing Punch Time Explosion is like watching your childhood hero gain a hundred pounds and try to earn a living cutting ribbons at the grand openings of supermarkets. Save yourself the dollar and the heartbreak.
