I don't really care because I have no intentions of making a twitter, but like...just to make it notable to anyone that knows me that whoever that is, is not me. So please don't complain to me about anything they do.

Update 3: I reported the Facebook page. I honestly don't mind fan accounts. I used to be a fan account of Rouge. It would be hypocritical of me to not allow it. But please, PLEASE, if you're going to make a fan account of Bessi, say it is a fan account somewhere on the account prominently.

I honestly don't mind it, but they have 83 followers, and I'd rather not her actions be associated with mine, so....I'm not gonna contact twitter or whatever, but I'm gonna put it out there that they aren't me. If I get a bunch of people contacting me about it and asking me about why I was such a bitch on twitter, I'll probably do something about it then. I just hope those 83 followers know that she's just someone using the character.

Usually they don't, when someone does something like this people think its the original artist but when they talk to the artist themselves and find out that they down have a twitter or fb account lots of stuff starts to happen. so yea its better to deal with this now than have it bite you later hun

i would strongly urge you to contact twitter and inform them that THIS is not you and they are impersonating you. Be sure too post this info any your other art site accounts.
If not now, they will continue to do so and it will bite you in the ass (and not the good way). Worse yet if they link your art site accounts, they can claim to do commissions from ppl, take there money and just do nothing about it. Leaving you, the real Bessie, liable for their crimes.

I already did, though they seem to want actual information like a driver's license, not related to Bessi (obviously), and the impersonation rules are mainly there for impersonating people's real names and such.

Yeah the copyright route may be the better option, since they are plagiarizing ownership of your creative product (your character) and the creative work of the artists who drew the character.

Weld: This is what happens with popular FC's, people steal them, because they are unimaginative recluses that give up on thinking up their own FCs. I find that the root of all these problems begin at childhood, when they get bullied about their arts and doodles, and it ends up discouraging them from unleashing their imagination and creativity. Yes, it's an obstacle that people can't overcome with each new generation, the same obstacles of selling creativity is why we had that horrid Ghostbusters remake.
