One can only hope that either life kicked them in the delicate parts hard enough that they had to disappear for a while, in which case at least there's an honest reason for the silence and a possibility, slim as it may be, for them to provide the arts that has been paid for at some point in the future, or if it was a scam-and-run their computer and any other electronic device they had exploded and/or had a catastrophic meltdown for schadenfreude sake.

Because seriously: Fuck the kind of person who does that intentionally. Fuck them and anything that allows them to do it.

I know name-dropping is usually a bad thing but until they cough up the art you probably should let people know that the artist stiffed you. Save others from the same fate at the hands of that artist.

I've given the artist a warning that I intend to do this. After a brief period of batching & whining they started my work. So for now we're in first gear moving ahead slowly.
