I am in need of two voices for the next chapter of The Beach Bears. As hinted in "I Saw God Today" it involves the birth of Stargazer and Sara's daughter. The two parts are:
Doctor: This is the doctor who delivers the child. His lines are: "It's a girl!" "Did you have a name picked out?" "And had you decided on a middle name?" "Corona Sapphire Borealis. Good name. Well, Corona, welcome to the world." "Do you want to let the mother hold her?" Voice could be either sex, but knowing my luck, will likely be male.
Nurse: This is the nurse who assists in the delivery. Her lines are: "Would you like to do the honors?" "Are you all right, Mister Borealis?" "Why don't you go back to the hotel and sleep? Sara and Corona will be just fine." This voice will be needed in a later chapter. I would prefer a female voice if I can get it.
To audition, record yourself saying any or all of the lines for the character, and send the recording to degroot.max@gmail.com . Any audio format is accepted, as long as I can play it and read it into Audacity.
Please be aware of your background noise and room reverb. The more there is the less likely I will be able to use you. Avoid mic pops by not speaking directly at the mic or by using a pop arrester or both.
I should be recording this within a week, so, the sooner you get them to me, the better.
