There is a multi-fandom convention held at the end of May in Lansing Michigan called MediaWest Con ( http://mediawestcon.org ) that has their own awards for different fandoms. They have decided this year to open up the nomination and votes to anyone and everyone.
So, if you have enjoyed my work, and would like to see it recognized, go to this website:
Click on the link that says, "2017 Fan Q Nomination (Published Online)" which is the second in a list of three. Do NOT click on the first one, as that form is for things that are in print, which obviously The Beach Bears is not in print. This will bring you to this form:
Under "Fandom" click the radio button for "Single Fandom".
Under "Name of Fandom/s" put in "Furry".
Under "Content" click the radio button for "Gen" which stands for general.
Under "Category" click the radio button for "Stand Alone 'Zine" (this is important to make sure the votes all gather in the same place. I have it from the con itself that this will be the correct category this year).
Under "Title" put "The Beach Bears" or "The Beach Bears Story".
Under "Author" put in "Max DeGroot" or "Maxgoof" or "Dipper", or whatever.
Leave the "Artist" spot blank, and I think this refers to multi-media, which would be various, if you include the voice actors, and artwork artists.
Under "Website" put in "FurAffinity" or "InkBunny" or "SoFurry" or "YouTube", whichever you like. I don't think it makes any real difference.
