My birthday was yesterday and it was actually a very nice day. We also had a wonderful large donation that came in and helped us clear up several things - but we are still in need of help. However, let me begin with the positive.
The cat is paid off! We now own James outright and there are no further payments due on him. There is no more threat of the cat being repossessed, and that monthly bill is gone!
We were able to pay our car registration, and get insurance, as well as deal with the suspended registration. It is no longer suspended, and we have insurance at $58 a month, due on the 3rd. However, the registration process isn't complete as we weren't able to afford the $50 to get the car to pass a smog test - this is something we need to do by the 20th of this month or we will owe more on the registration again.
I was able to order my hormones for the first time in over a year! They'll be coming next week and I can't wait to have energy and feel better again. I've missed the person I am when my hormones aren't insanely out of whack. Also, all the automatic payments for the rest of this month are covered.
Finally, we were able to pay a little more on the car's back payments. However, if we don't come up with $500 by the 20th, the car will likely be sent to repossession anyway because we're still two and a half months overdue.
That being said - in all of this, we also had gotten my wife a few more days of medication, but she will be out tomorrow and I would really like to avoid her going days without medication again. So if anyone can spare anything, we would really appreciate it.
