TMI Tuesday!

Lol, 20 minutes before midnight X'D Figured I'd shoot one of these out here now that I'm back from work. Same type thing as usual, I ask a question, then you ask a question!

I have, a TON of WIPS, unfinished little drabbles and such, all up on this laptop... so my question, to any other people who write, or draw, do you also happen to build up a ton of material, and don't know either what to do with it, or even if you'll manage to finish it XD?

I wouldn't mind posting WIPS in my scraps, just to see if interest was gauged XD I do plan to at least TRY to finish most of my WIPS, because I hate to see them stand in line forever lmao, but I figure I'd put that out there to see if you guys are interested. Speaking of writing, I've been a bit slower, work has me on an 8 day week, but I'm free on Monday/Tuesday, so I'll be getting in some progress then XD

I have a big ass folder full of scraps, WIPs, and ideas for video projects I'll likely never touch, but I can't bring myself to get rid of all of them because I know there was a moment in time where I thought they were good, so maybe it'll hit me again.

Do you ever let your mind wander to your writing and formulate ideas at totally inappropriate times, like at work or dinner or something? I know I've thought of and even discussed a few commission ideas on the clock. Probably the only time I'll pop a boner at work.

Heh, can always just dig through that folder, and see if inspiration strikes you again! Happens a few times with WIPS when I dig through older stuff XD

And to answer the question, yes indeed! I'm usually constantly on the move at my job, and while I can't visit IB or FA on my phone while at work, there's times when I can get out of the front, and do some more menial things in the back, and then I can let my mind wander to stuff while I handle things. I've actually thought up some plots, or even story directions to go in while at work, and in those cases, I'll actually text it to myself, like a little sticky note so I don't forget it XD

I have a whole lot of sketches that i did mean to color at first but looking back at them, most would require so much redrawing to satisfy myself on their quality that might as well not bother. I've got some WIP writing as well, but my stories are so short that i don't see much point in releasing them ahead of time

I wouldn't mind seeing your WIPs though, i appreciate you uploading anything ^^

I'm pretty bad at asking these questions myself... but do you have a thing for any pokemon? :p

I've got a few stories like that, that I started ages back, and now when I read them, I realize I could either trim a lot of stuff, or just rewrite certain sections XD I might have to do that sometime XD

Oh yes, I do indeed have a thing for some pokemon XD Lucario is probably the biggest one, but I like Squirtle, Meowth, and Pikachu just to name a couple XD I actually have a PMD WIP, featuring a naughty Squirtle named Gido and a shy Pikachu named Hunter, that I'm hoping to get some work done on these days XD I also have a Lucario and Drowzee fic that's been WIP for at least 3 years at this point ^^;

I don't know I'll finish anything; any day my parents might randomly decide at last to kick me out or something similarly life-ruining. I do come up with ideas that I know I can't do for whatever reason, so I don't bother with them.
Sometimes I'll write a note to get back to something later. Whether I'll find the note when the time comes is another story lol

The pressing question on my mind is... how the heck does an 8 day week work? o_O

I do a lot of note writing as well actually! I'll either jot stuff down in an idea file, little summaries or character ideas, and if I'm not at my computer, I'll actually text the ideas to myself, so I can add them to the file when I get home XD Sometimes I'll find stuff that I've completely forgotten about, and it reignites the spark so to speak XD

Ooh, the 8 day week; Our work week begins on Wednesday on our schedule, and I usually work six to seven or eight hours for five days out of the week, with two days off; but the way this week is scheduled, has had me working the last three days, and on the new schedule I work until Monday and Tuesday; so that's 8 straight days of shifts with no day off, I.E an 8 day week for me XD It's a pain lol

Heh, yeah, I have a few old WIPs stashed away. Some due to lack of inspiration, and others because they're purely guilty pleasure fics involving a friend's OC and it would be rude of me to post them anywhere since it's basically a non-canon crack-ship thing XD

Let's see... my stash of old projects... Avoiding spoilers unless you're curious, I got a... Omega x Shadow... Sonic x Jules crackship fic... a Tails x Sonic x Manic thing... and one with Sonic, Manic, and this obscure wolf dude I randomly came up with for this old plot idea I had. XD Maybe one of these days...

For my question, if you could redesign the characters of any fandom in any way (clothing, height, muscles, etc.) are there any characters you'd want to spruce up? And how would you?

Hmm... I'm usually a fan of the original designs, and end up disliking more drastic redesigns (BOOOOM), except on rare occasions! I've seen some pretty cool fan designs of characters XD But if I was doing it myself, I'd probably try to keep it as close to the original as possible... I might change up the physiques of some characters slightly, like giving Sonic subtly more noticeable, lithe muscles, but that's probably about it XD In AU stuff though, I tend to think of the characters in redesigned ways, mostly with added clothes and such XD
