Movies in 2016

I was debating if I wanted to do a list or not like last year. Instead of a list. I am just going to give a quick run down of films I really enjoyed. And those I thought were crap.

These are in in no particular order. Just going by release dates.

The Revenant  (technically 2015 but I did not see it till January)

Hail, Caesar!  (I have a feeling this will be like O'Brother Where Art Thou and will get better and better the more I see it)

Ice Age: Collision Course (this is why Angry Birds is not on this list. I saw this right before Birds and made Birds seem okay in comparison)

The VVitch had some little things that stuck out.
The ending wasn't very impressive to me. Though the meat of the movie was interesting

10 Cloverfield lane too. Really liked that

My teeny reviews of the things on this list that I saw:

Witch was incredibly rad! One of the best horror things I've seen in awhile.

Hail Cesar was a fun surprise! I love movies about movies.

Zootopia was furry and great, so I had to love it.

Arrival was... eh. I loved the concept, but it really fell apart towards the end for me. Good scifi movie though, I expect lots of future filmmakers are going to be inspired by it.

10 Cloverfield Lane was incredibly unexpected with twists that I didn't see coming. Rad!

Finding Dory was cute and I could connect to it on a deep level. Good movie. <3

Kubo had a wonderful art style, but I felt the story was kinda lacking. Good movie though!

Rogue One was a really fun movie! It made me have a bigger appreciation for Episode 4.

Batman Vs. Superman was dumb.

Independence Day Resurgence was dumb.

Ghostbusters was... not as bad as I had heard, but still not a very good movie.

Ice Age: Collision Course was garbage.

Suicide Squad was too long and had too many characters and I don't really like superhero movies so I'm kinda negatively biased towards this one. -w-

Max Steel was silly.

Life on the Line had potential, but was poorly excecuted.
