More computer help

Alright  so i have two computers one laptop and one desktop and seeing as im in the basment for my room i had to add a wifi extender so i would have better connection, but i have an issuse that has recently started up. So what happens is at night  or some times during the day my desktop will lose connection and i will run the diagnostic program to see whats wrong, and it so far always says its my wifi extender and it needs to be reset, so i will look at my laptop a will still be connected  and with just a restart of my desktop its reconnected again and im not sure if i should replace the wifi cardor not

You could try going to your desktop computer's Network Connections and then disabling the wireless connection, then re-enabling it, to see if that helps. You could also look to see if there are any later drivers for your wireless device. Sometimes these are hard to hunt down, though. :-/
