I hope to go back to this farm house in the woods up in Barnaby. Can't say how old it is for certain. Far removed from the road and external wiring leads only to the kitchen. The wire ends where a stove used to sit, also a light in the kitchen ceiling
Roof has fallen in and so did most of the second floor. Though the structure is propped up by central beams which used to be hidden in the wall. It's skeletonizing where it stands, though should of fallen well before now.
Had a handful of people tell me they used to play in it as children. And that was 30-40 years ago. It had been empty their whole childhood, as far as they recall. One older gentleman guesses it was built before the first world war. He used to play in it as a child and that was close to 50-55 years ago. Curious indeed that such a large house, for the time, was abandoned

I walked through there a few years ago with a sheepdog furiend not long before they closed. It's one of the malls I think about that would have been cool to turn into a furry 'city'. Deadmalls.com and labelscar.com are also good sites for abandoned malls.
