I've been coming up with characters pretty consistently for years, but if you mean Milkie in particular as being the first one, I'd say almost 12 years ago.
I played other characters on Furcadia as an RP thing before, but it was only when I hopped on Second Life that I decided I needed something or someone to represent me to the online community that I would stick to. I gave it some serious thought (I had a list of animals and how they are personified in stories and media), and I decided that a mouse would be the best for me. I based his design off of the Second Life avatar I ended up snagging as a freebie - an old Luskwood, I think.

Initially, Cookie was just filling a niche. I like shemale characters, and so I made one and built her design around a kuudere sort of character, making her into a horny teen.
My idea to introduce a magical component to her character comes from my love of supernatural folktale and myth.
