2017; the continuation of a legacy

Sorry everyone, but 2017 probably wont be any different from 2016.

Celebrities will still die.
Trump's still president, thankfully in my opinion.
Radical muslims will still kill people in the name of islam.
"Fake news" will still be made, and will mostly be slapped with the label by the far-left.
Mainstream media will still lie to you.
Media reviewers will still try to sell the product rather than review the thing fairly.
Reboots will still be made, and probably suck as per usual.
Sequels will be made even though they really don't need to be made.
Disney will continue making live-action versions of their old movies.
Mass shootings will probably happen.
Twitter will continue to die off.
Feminism will continue to push away from equality and towards supremacy.
Black lives matter will continue to move away from whatever good there was in the beginning.
Memes will continue to be ragged on by idiots who take them seriously.
No really, MEMES are being taken seriously by idiots.
Germany will continue to lose its nationality to mass importation of terrible ideas.
Sweden will continue to fuck itself.
"I would not even rape you" will still be considered a rape threat by idiots.
Brexit will still happen, and the remainers will still bitch and moan and demand a revote.
Social justice will continue to make a joke of itself.
The "alt-right" will still be an extremely small fringe minority that exists mostly on 4chan.

So, sorry to be the bearer of bad news and good news. 2017 will be exactly the same (probably worse in some areas) as 2016. Stop getting your hopes up by saying "die in a fire 2016" and "thank god 2016 is finally gone" because fuck no it isn't, the meme magicians are just revving up and 2017 is going to begin with meme overload.
