The year where the Cubs won the world series

The year where meme warfare decides the presidential election

The year where the UK unflinchingly voted to leave the cultural suicide of the UN

The year where M Night Shyamalan finally creates another good movie

2016 has been nothing short of a roller coaster of a year, if 2017 is going to be anything like this year. I invite it. Because while we have had to go through so many different hardships it's been an experience I am happy to say I've been alive to witness.

That's true. What a terrible year. I'm actually particularly shocked about George Michael. I really expected him to stay around much longer. And on top of all this shit, I had an unexpected death in my family too, also way before his time. :( Come, Kevin, let's hug and hope for a better 2017. *hugs*

To note what seems the Smaller side of this.

Richard Adams the author of Watership Down. A man who thought up of talking rabbits having their own society and spitting it all out while driving his daughters. Both of whom encouraged and pestered him to write a book. The books published release date was in 1972 the seeds of that were made in 69 and 70 and it was a book that ended up inspiring many writers, artist, and dreamers to do things they might not have done. Even with Lady and the Tramp and Aristocats already made as movies there wasn't a story or movie with such depth in both adventure and suspence.

Little known facts: In The Big Read, a 2003 survey of the British public, it was voted the forty-second greatest book of all time.
And the movie adaptation, The British television station Channel 4's 2006 documentary has the 100 Greatest Cartoons: named it the 86th greatest cartoon of all time.
