Happy Christmas, Harry! Have a bunch more 80s music!

Here I am again, making the season bright with another free music compilation thingy for you guys. My last one had so much stuff I wanted to include, I was easily able to scoop together a third to make a trilogy. Here once again are a bunch of songs from the DeLorean decade that either never became hits (but deserved it), were hits but then kind of vanished from airplay, or are just interesting little oddities I like. Grab yourself some New Coke and pop this in your cassette deck!

01 - Paula Abdul - Opposites Attract
02 - Talking Heads - Radio Head
03 - George Harrison - Got My Mind Set On You
04 - Eurythmics - When Tomorrow Comes
05 - David Bowie - Shining Star (Making My Love)
06 - Paul Simon - The Boy In The Bubble
07 - Devo - Jurisdiction Of Love
08 - Adam Ant - Puss 'n Boots
09 - The Art Of Noise feat. Max Headroom - Paranoimia
10 - Siouxsie And The Banshees - Peek-A-Boo
11 - Oingo Boingo - Just Another Day
12 - Terrence Mann - Power Of The Night
13 - Michael Jackson - Leave Me Alone
14 - Shuki Levy - Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Main Theme
15 - Roy Orbison - I Drove All Night
16 - The Bangles - Walk Like An Egyptian
17 - The Beach Boys - Make It Big
18 - Greg Phillinganes - Countdown To Love

How do Opposites Attract, Got My Mind Set On You, Walk Like An Egyptian, and You Might Think qualify? The latter two, particularly, are hits that I hear all the time in places that play radios.

I would think that they would fall under the "or are just interesting little oddities I like." section =3

Huh. You must have different radio stations then. I haven't heard a peep out of any of those songs since they were first on the radio and MTV.

I've heard a few of these on classic rock radio stations.

...and that makes me feel old. I remember people making fun of Walk Like An Erection Egyptian when it came out!

Tee hee. Yeah, I remember how big that song was when I was a kid, then we all just sort of forgot about it. Maybe we were embarassed. but what's wrong with a goofy novelty song?

Well, Weird Al made a career out of them!

This is very true. And a career that's outlasted most of the people he's done parodies of!
