how do you find people to commish

lol seriously. it's impossible.

browse recent pictures -> only average/bad art or pics "made by [popufur]". if you find a decent artist, his style isn't what you're looking for.
browser popular pics -> only popufurs who don't take commissions or are full or ask 100$ for a pic.

I want to give money to someone but nobody lets me. :^(
I wish Iwas a popufur, I'd be friends with others and get reserved spots. it's the only way!

Yea there's some people I wanna commission but haven't been able to in forever! ;(
Guess the planets have to be aligned for that sorta thing.

also z0rgy, you just follow the artists that you like, I e.g. I like Digimon and Foxes so I just follow everyone who draws that.
there'll be some who take commissions

well he has nice art but like he says on his page, he is better at chibis, and I'm not looking for chibis :p
even if you follow artists, they get their commissions filled almost instantly. if you're a few hours late, it's too late. I must be the only artist who is permanently open with 0 commissions :p

oh I didn't know her, she has nice art.
but she makes mostly pokemons or chibis, and it's not what I am looking for.

What I find amusing are those artists who actually never, under any circumstance, do any art by request or commission for anyone. Except that one person, for some reason x3

this is exactly why we started bleatr.com, an site aimed at indexing artists offering commissions for easy searching and ordering. the community isn't very large yet, and the site itself isn't the best yet, but it's getting a redesign soon. given time, it will be convenient for everyone
