MFF 2016 Update

Sorry for not posting this sooner but school and other life priorities to take care of.
It’s been about a week since MFF has ended. As always it was a lot of fun seeing a lot of old faces again and some new ones.
I roomed with

CrescentFox,

Shez Husky, and

FlintGF this time around. I think this time room setup worked well especially compared how AC went. Not saying that room was bad, just how events leading up to that room went (not going to get into it). Crescent and Shez I met before in the past and had a blast hanging with them and now. It was fun meeting Flint for the first time.
The first day was kind of mixed. The professor of my hydrology class allowed me to do my final on the plane. That test was normally stressful but hell on the plane. The test was supposed to be done in 3 hours but spent I think a total of 6+ hours in doing. This was not because I did it on the plane or in the hotel, just it was a hard test to do. Good thing I had till Friday to finish it but finished that night. So that whole day after settling into the room with my roommates, I was working on the test and taking a break down the lobby. We did go hang out at the mall nearby for a bit. Once I finished the test, that night got better where I got to hang and have fun.
Friday morning before the con started, we went downtown Chicago and hanged there for the morning and went up to Willis Tower. It was fun going there but for someone who lived in NYC during 9/11 it was a little daunting to go up there. Also to add to it, I was in the World Trade Center about 2 years before it happens around that same time frame. Once I got up there, it got fun to see the view. Once we got back, I hanged with them and others till night. I met up with a bunch of people at the Ram for the Ink Bunny dinner. The dinner was so much better than where we were last year. It was great hanging out with everyone there again and some new people.
On Saturday the people I roomed with went to the Sugar Factory. The food was better the last time I was there but it was fun being there. Afterwards we went back to the con, hanged around there for of the day. The thing that replaced the parade wasn’t as good but needed to be formatted better. It does not hold a candle to the parade or other replacements I seen.
Sunday morning after the donut event, everyone in my room went to this really good pancake house with a bunch of UKfurs Shez and Flint knew. It was pretty good. After that I spent most of the time trying to find and meet everyone I missed. Was amusing to see the fursuiters go crazy over the snow as well as people who never seen the snow for the first time. It’s a nice change to see a rural snow vs urban snow for once.
Overall, MFF this year was a blast. This is probably one of my favorite cons and wouldn’t want to miss it for the world. Hope to come to this con again next year.

In other news, I will be finish up my fall term in about a week and be free till February. I will be trying to stream games again and maybe art streams too. I will try to post more art around the art sites again. As of right now I just post random sketches on my twitter. Also I am trying to make my Discord server more active as well.
