I know I have been incredibly slow with updates in the past year. Life is becoming more demanding, I have an ongoing writing project on Fimfiction that I am committed to about 3500 words/wk on, a particular friend is very distracting, and so forth. I have plentiful excuses!
But now I have content on its way as well! So I am going to go ahead and commit to getting v0.28 out the door before the end of the year.
What's coming? I don't entirely know! But I do know a few major bits:
Manual harvesting: in several zones you will be able to put your pawns in your party to work gathering materials such as bone, copper, stone, wood, and bleakwood. This is about 1/6 as productive as setting them in a building for 6 hours, give or take some difference in modifiers. However, there is a chance of being attacked by an appropriate enemy type. (This does not prevent the harvesting.)
More Nezumi and Worg content, including new sex scenes and social options. I plan to add a gay/male version of the horny worg bitch scene as well.
And most concerning of all: modified save/load engine. Saves will be completely incompatible going back from 0.28 to previous versions, but they should work perfectly going from older versions to 0.28. The changes reduce file size by as much as 50% in my test cases, but more importantly make it a lot easier to find things with a save editor for those of us who have an interest in doing so. If you have access to the Pending Version, please let me know if you run into any issues with saving and loading! Thanks. (and just to be on the safe side, maybe backup your saves.)
