I'm sorry I couldn't spare you kind words. I have been feeling crummy myself all day and having to sift through hours of tedium to take my driving test, which I'm entirely sure I failed, didn't help matters any. I had eleven hours to simmer in self loathing and annoyance so the best I could muster was a little fit of impotent rage. ):

I too have to apologize for not offering the words I should have been able to. I'm only now able to really get myself out of bed after that.

I'm also here to help you out emotionally. I've been spending all day trying to raise the morale of everyone around me. I plan to fight harder than ever before to stop the Entropy from bereaving the rights of the millions out there. We won the popular vote; we outnumber the Dissonants who were content or eager to let the country slide back into a darker era.

Now we need to gather together, gain a second wind, and MAKE our voices heard. We matter just as much as anyone else, and we will not allow the authoritarian, theocratic, xenophobic right take away our rights because of our superficial or amorous differences, nor the egomaniac who is poised to take control of the White House. Do not let them so much as SNEEZE without intense scrutiny, and most importantly, do NOT allow anyone from our side try and split hairs. We are all in this together for a common goal, and the world is now watching us carefully with very bated breath.

I may be a johnny-come-lately as compared to most, but I think you are a fairly integral part of this little corner of the fuzzbutt fandom. Without you there would be a significant dearth of our particular interests, and much more importantly, a significant dearth of a person in whom we (Or at least I) are far more interested in.

I must admit the news devastated me to such a degree that I had no clue what I was saying in that journal. But still I was hoping and now I am glad to hear that things did indeed look up just from knowing that people would be here for you no matter what and that in itself is awesome. n_n

Sometimes when you put your thoughts out there, you're not as alone as you think! Yes, a majority of the country voted Republican, but there's still tons of people who feel the same way you do.

Setting all that aside, we gotta look out for one another! Even if I'm not a fellow countryman, I can still empathize. I'd never want to be in this situation, and I wouldn't wish it on my enemies.

I'm really sorry for not being more supportive. I was running on fumes. (It didn't help that when I was drifting off for a nap, a family member told me I was worrying over nothing because blah blah blah. I didn't have the energy to argue.)

That's also true in a way, when someone's being hurt, fighting for them is the kind thing to do, even if it may be percieved as cruel to the one causing them harm

I've seen some bad stuff in the last day, but I've also seen gestures like this -- people coming together to help each other deal with these awful developments. And that's enough to make me think we'll be okay.

I saw your journal last night but was too tired to think of anything meaningful to say so I will do so now.

I have followed Chay and yourself on a number of platforms over the years and I appreciate and enjoy the content you both create. You are both wonderful individuals that I sincerely hope I get to meet some day so I can personally say thank you and give you the hugs you both deserve.

I still remember being so excited to get comments from yourself critiquing politely on how I could improve pictures of mine and will continue to enjoy the work you have made for myself, even if the elements of it are just two large circles squashing against a wall.

You both have my love and support and if times get tough, I shall do what I can to offer the pair of you a helping hand or be someone to listen.

Stay awesome.

I like you and your work and with your tablet breaking and the Elephant in the White House it's a problem. Even if the only way I can help you is financially with patreon and the occasional commission I will help.

I'm certain this rings true for most of us.
