Well, I didn't see that election result coming. My predictions about how the whole campaign would turn out had been spot on since I made them over a year ago.
For the record, I predicted a narrow Hillary victory. And that the Republican party would use Trump's defeat to push all the blame for the loss on him and claim the Republican party was totally untarnished and not at fault. And that Trump would spend most if not all of Hillary's term being a sore loser about losing, and doing whatever he could to undermine her legitimacy (like he did by founding the Birther's movement to try to undermine Obama).
Unfortunately this means the Republican tactics to delay the appointment of a new supreme court justice will pay off. It will get stacked with evangelicals and become closer to a theocratic body than a legal court. And Trump isn't the problem, Pence is. Trump will be an easily controlled puppet and figurehead, only in it for fame. Pence is the one with a political agenda, and that worries me a lot.
It looks like we will be picking up the pieces and repairing the damage to America for the rest of our lives.
